The British Columbia portion of the proposed Trans Canada Bike Route, a national coast-to-coast cycling network still taking shape. The BC section maps about 5,400 km of connected riding, nearly all on paved roads, reaching from Vancouver Island through the southern Interior to the Cariboo. A planning framework and a dream to follow rather than a signed trail: expect ordinary highway conditions.
The full map, turn-by-turns, and GPX for this ride are on Trans Canada Bike Route Network. Our map shows roughly where the ride goes, not how to follow it.
