Founded in 1998 and housed in a century-old historic warehouse in Kelowna's cultural district, Bike Shop Cafe and Catering takes its name from the building's former life as a bicycle shop — regulars have donated their old bikes to hang on the walls, with some returning specifically to dine beneath their old ride. The fully licensed, independently owned cafe has won multiple Peoples Choice awards including Best Soup, Best Sandwich, Best Specialty Coffee, and Best Use of Local Ingredients, offering an ever-changing menu of locally sourced soul food, specialty organic beverages, craft beer, and a catering service guided by the same philosophy.
