Anton's Pasta Bar
Anton's Pasta Bar is a Burnaby institution founded in 1983 by Calabrian immigrant Tony Mauro and widely credited as Vancouver's original pasta bar. The restaurant offers over 70 fresh pasta creations in famously generous portions, served in a warm, no-reservations neighbourhood setting that has built a loyal following across Greater Vancouver for more than 25 years. Touring cyclists will find it a reliable carb-loading stop on East Hastings, with a broad menu spanning red sauces, seafood pastas, vegetarian dishes, and risottos.
