8th Generation Vineyard is a family-owned estate winery in Summerland, BC, carrying 243 years of unbroken winemaking heritage that traces back to 1783 in the Rheinhessen village of Dalsheim, Germany. Founders Bernd and Stefanie Schales arrived in the Okanagan in 2003, bringing their grandfather's winepress and generations of grape-growing expertise to produce 100% BC-fruit wines using minimal-intervention techniques. Visitors are welcomed at the farmhouse wine shop to taste and purchase the boutique lineup of whites, rosés, reds, frizzante, and cider.
