A 40-hectare nature reserve on Galiano Island that bridges Pebble Beach Marine Reserve and the Millard Learning Centre, forming part of a continuous 600+ hectare Mid-Island Protected Areas Network. The reserve protects old-growth Douglas-fir, Garry oak bluffs, and the Great Beaver Swamp, offering habitat for at-risk species like Olive-sided Flycatcher and Great Blue Heron. Touring cyclists can hike the Vanilla Leaf Trail through varied forest and riparian ecosystems.
