Quadra Hill (DL 58)
A 47-hectare nature reserve on Galiano Island protecting carbon-dense forests and diverse ecosystems within the Mid-Island Protected Areas Network. The reserve ensures habitat connectivity between surrounding protected areas, creating an unbroken corridor from the Trincomali Channel to the Strait of Georgia. The Galiano Conservancy is actively restoring wetlands and forest plantations on this former industrial forestry and gravel extraction site.
