The Walled Garden is a garden feature within Hatley Park, a magnificent Edwardian estate and National Historic Site situated on 565 oceanfront acres just 25 minutes from downtown Victoria. The grounds are home to Royal Roads University and encompass Italian, Japanese, and Rose gardens, old-growth forest trails, biking trails, and the iconic Hatley Castle. Cycling tourists will find a scenic and historically rich destination with the Olympic Mountains visible across the Strait of Juan de Fuca.
