The Raptors
The Raptors (also operating as Pacific Northwest Raptors Ltd.) is a birds-of-prey education and experience centre set in woodland near Duncan on Vancouver Island. Visitors can watch daily free-flight demonstrations featuring eagles, hawks, owls, and vultures, or book hands-on experiences such as walking with a hawk or holding a falcon on the glove. The centre has a conservation focus and also runs summer camps and a week-long falconry course, making it a memorable detour for touring cyclists exploring the Cowichan Valley.
