Emandare Vineyard is a boutique, family-run winery perched on a south-sloping hillside in the Cowichan Valley, overlooking Somenos Lake in the rain shadow of Mount Prevost on Vancouver Island. Founded by Mike and Robin Nierychlo, it produces low-intervention, organically dry-farmed, terroir-driven wines from estate and single-vineyard sources using old-world techniques. Visitors can drop into the wine shop for tastings, book a private tour with the winemaker, or take part in a unique wine-and-golf-simulator experience held in the barrel cellar.
