A protected area near Duncan sheltering both shallow-soil and deep-soil Garry Oaks along with three federally endangered plant species and rare wildflowers. The site borders Ye'yumnuts, a sacred ancestral place of the Quw'utsun people with over 2,000 years of documented history. Touring cyclists can park at the end of York Road off Trillium Terrace and walk wide gravelly trails through the oak meadows.
