East Van Roasters
East Van Roasters is a social enterprise cafe and bean-to-bar chocolate maker in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, providing career training and meaningful employment for women experiencing barriers to employment. The cafe serves specialty espresso drinks, single-origin drinking chocolates, and freshly baked cookies, with an open-door community ethos that includes a suspended coffee program for local community members. The business has taken home multiple International Chocolate Awards and makes all its single-origin chocolates on-site.
