Gasthaus on the Lake is a long-established Bavarian pub and restaurant perched on the shore of Okanagan Lake in Peachland, serving authentic German cuisine — schnitzels, bratwurst, spätzle, and more — since 1991. Founded by two Germans who came to retire and instead built a community landmark, the restaurant expanded to include a pub and lakeside patio in 2000 and has been under its current ownership since 2018. The lakeside setting and hearty menu make it a natural stop for cyclists riding the Okanagan Valley routes.
