Paynter's Fruit Market
A family farm market operating since 1919, located just one block off Highway 97 in the Westbank neighbourhood of West Kelowna, surrounded by over 10 acres of peaches, apricots, plums, apples, and pears. Now in its fifth generation of family ownership, the market stocks an extensive range of seasonal BC-grown produce sourced directly from the farm behind the stand. Cyclists passing through the Okanagan Valley will find a wide selection of fresh fruit, vegetables, and herbs, with a you-pick orchard open mid-July through October.
This place is in the traditional territory of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, Nłeʔkepmx Tmíxʷ (Nlaka’pamux), Syilx (Okanagan), and Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla.
