Thompson Okanagan Connector Visitor Centre
Perched on the Okanagan Connector (Highway 97C) above Peachland, this visitor centre is the first stop after Merritt and serves as the gateway to the Central, North, and South Okanagan. Touring cyclists can take in sweeping first views of Okanagan Lake and Valley while speaking with trained visitor counsellors about local activities, accommodations, and events. The centre sells local and Indigenous products including clothing, art, and road snacks, and its patio is shaded by 48 solar panels that power on-site EV charging stations.
This place is in the traditional territory of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, Nłeʔkepmx Tmíxʷ (Nlaka’pamux), Syilx (Okanagan), and Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla.
