The Sumas Dyke Trails run flat through quiet farmland near Abbotsford, 13 km one way and 26 return on gravel dykes and a former rail corridor. This valley floor was Sumas Lake until it was drained in the 1920s, a history worth knowing as you ride, with mountain views in every direction. Surfaces run chunky in stretches.
