Roller Coaster

Easy Smooth surfaces and gentle climbing.

Difficulty Our overall read of how demanding a route is. We score surface roughness, climbing, singletrack, and how far it runs from services. The route publisher's own rating, a lot of busy road riding, or sheer scale can push the tier up, never down.

How we describe routes →

The Roller Coaster lives up to its name: a 40 km loop through quiet Abbotsford farmland that rises and dips continually as it weaves on and off a former rail corridor. None of the hills are long, but they keep coming. Big valley views and barns for scenery, with some shared-road stretches.
