Port Alberni's Log Train Trail follows a historic logging railway for up to 21 km one way through forest and farm edges, with connectors linking the Kitsuksis Dyke and the warm waters of Sproat Lake. Options run 3.5 to 42 km, family-friendly on the rail grade, rougher and hillier on the connectors.
