10 Lakes Overnighter, Powell River

The name says it: this 103 km loop from downtown Powell River strings together ten freshwater lakes on the Sunshine Coast's vast logging-road network, loosely following the famous Powell Forest Canoe Route. Fast-rolling gravel with a handful of steep climbs, and lakeside camping at spots like Nanton Lake and Fiddlehead make it an easy first overnighter. These are active, radio-controlled logging roads, so stay alert for trucks and give them the road.
