Blackie Spit is a dramatic coastal spit extending into Mud Bay at the mouth of the Nicomekl River, offering sweeping views of Mud Bay and the North Shore Mountains. Operated by the City of Surrey, the park features nature trails, picnic areas, and two fully fenced off-leash dog areas, and is home to the Surrey Sailing Club and the Crescent Beach Swim Club. It makes a rewarding detour for touring cyclists exploring the South Surrey and Crescent Beach area.
