The Sandbar is a full-service seafood restaurant on Granville Island, situated on the water between the Arts Club Theatre and Ocean Cement, directly under the Granville Street Bridge with views over False Creek. Part of the Sequoia Company of Restaurants (est. 1978), it is a Vancouver institution with a 300-seat capacity, live music, and a menu anchored in Pacific seafood including fresh oysters, Dungeness crab, and a sushi and raw bar. Cycling tourists on the Vancouver Seawall will find it a natural stopping point, as it sits steps from False Creek Water Ferries and the Seawall itself.
