Fry's Red Wheat Bread Bakery
Fry's Bakery is a small family-run wood-fired sourdough bakery in the Vic West neighbourhood of Victoria, using organic stone-milled flours and locally sourced ingredients to produce long-fermentation sourdough breads, pastries, and pizza. The business has remarkable historical continuity — the original Fry's Bakery was founded nearby in 1897 by the current owner's ancestor, and the modern operation revived that legacy in 2012 at a storefront directly across the street from the original location. It functions as a community-supported artisan bakery, also supplying a select few local shops and restaurants.
