Moon Water Lodge
Moon Water Lodge is a boutique hotel perched on the Malahat along the Trans-Canada Highway, offering sweeping panoramic views of Saanich Inlet from private balconies in every room. Restored and reopened in 2014, the lodge ranges from luxury king suites to long-stay studios with full kitchens, and is pet-friendly throughout. Sustainability is central to the operation — the owners led the 'Strawless in BC' campaign and partner with Surfrider — making it a conscientious rest point roughly 25 minutes north of Victoria on a classic Vancouver Island cycling route.
This place is in the traditional territory of the Á,LEṈENEȻ ȽTE (W̱SÁNEĆ), Hul’qumi’num Treaty Group, MÁLEXEȽ (Malahat), Quw’utsun, Te’mexw Treaty Association, and Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla.
