Nomad
Nomad is an eco-conscious espresso bar, café, and bakery that operates as a proudly 100% single-use cup-free shop—customers bring their own tumbler, use an on-site ceramic mug, or rent a sustainably 3D-printed clay cup made from clay, salt, and water. Founded by Annette Kim, whose earlier North Vancouver café reduced landfill waste by 95%, Nomad has collectively diverted over 250,000 single-use cups from landfills since 2022. The Kitsilano location opened in early 2026, bringing this zero-waste coffee culture to a neighbourhood popular with cyclists riding the waterfront and nearby routes.
