Big Wheel Burger is a Victoria-born fast food chain and Canada's first carbon neutral fast food restaurant, open since 2011 and now operating five locations. The Cook Street Village outpost is surrounded by a community garden the company created from an unused boulevard. It sources 100% fresh BC beef, local buns from Irene's Bakery, and dairy from Island Farms, making it a locally-rooted stop for a calorie-dense meal on a touring ride.
