World's Largest Paddle
The World's Largest Paddle is a Guinness World Records-certified roadside attraction near Golden, BC — a locally crafted Western Red Cedar and LVL paddle scaled 13 times to over 60 feet, set against the backdrop of the Canadian Rockies and Columbia River Valley. Adjacent to the paddle is the Columbia Wetlands Outpost, where visitors can rent canoes, kayaks, SUPs, and pedal boats, or join a guided cataraft float through wetlands home to over 350 wildlife species. Located on Hwy 95 about 26 km south of Golden, it is a natural stop for cyclists touring the Columbia River corridor.
