Mount 7 is a prominent free flight site above Golden, BC, regularly hosting national hang gliding and paragliding competitions and drawing pilots from around the world. The Lookout launch area doubles as a public recreation site managed by Rec Sites and Trails BC, attracting cyclists, hikers, snowmobilers, and sightseers. The summit offers sweeping Rocky Mountain views and the access road was upgraded to 2WD-capable in 2000, making it reachable without a 4x4.
