Beacon Drive In is a Victoria institution founded in 1958, serving classic burgers, soft-serve ice cream, shakes, and breakfast from a largely unchanged building directly across from the 75-hectare Beacon Hill Park. Voted Victoria's Best Ice Cream for 29 consecutive years, it remains a family-run business with deep local character, having changed ownership only three times in over 60 years. The covered, heated patio is open year-round, and the kitchen runs from breakfast through dinner, making it a natural stop for cyclists completing the Beacon Hill circuit.
