Mackin House Museum is built around a 1909 Edwardian-era heritage home originally constructed for the Sales Manager of Fraser Mills, and is operated by the Coquitlam Heritage Society to celebrate the multicultural history of Coquitlam and Maillardville — the largest French-speaking settlement in Western Canada. Visitors can tour the restored heritage interior, explore rotating and permanent exhibits on local and regional history, and visit the adjacent Fraser Mills Train Station and a 1970s Caboose. The museum offers guided tours, school programs, venue rentals, and recurring afternoon tea events in the heritage dining room.
