Saku
SAKU is a Canadian katsu restaurant chain that introduced traditional Japanese tonkatsu to Vancouver in 2018, distinguishing itself with Duroc-breed pork sourced from Canadian farms and fresh panko baked daily by COBS Bread. The Burquitlam location serves a full dine-in and takeout menu of pork, chicken, seafood, and vegetable katsu sets with unlimited rice and miso soup. The brand gained wider recognition after appearing on Dragon's Den and has since expanded to multiple Metro Vancouver locations and Toronto.
