Nelson Brewing Company
Nelson Brewing Company is one of BC's original craft breweries, founded in 1991 in a historic building that has housed brewing since the 1800s — its beer cellar sits 20 feet underground above a natural creek called Ward Street Creek. The taproom pours a rotating selection of small-batch and classic craft beers alongside ciders, wine, and cocktails, with flights, snacks, and growler fills available. As the first craft brewery east of the Okanagan, it is a landmark stop in Nelson for touring cyclists passing through the Kootenays.
