Lavidas is a locally owned French-inspired restaurant in Kitsilano that has been serving contemporary comfort food since 2016, reopening under its current name in June 2023. Chef Jennifer Wu, a Culinary Institute of America graduate who apprenticed at a Relais & Châteaux property in Montreal, leads a menu rooted in Pacific Northwest ingredients with classic French techniques. The restaurant is a welcoming, LGBTQIA+-inclusive space with wheelchair accessibility and gender-neutral washrooms.
