Nicola Valley Museum & Archives
The Nicola Valley Museum & Archives offers a 4,000 sq ft exploration of the region's history, with exhibits spanning First Nations culture, ranching, mining, forestry, rail travel, and pioneer life. Located in downtown Merritt at the edge of the Railyard Mall, it holds the most comprehensive collection of artifacts and archival records relating to the Nicola Valley. The museum actively welcomes tour groups and positions Merritt as a stopover destination for travellers moving between Vancouver and Banff.
