The Nicola Valley Aquatic Centre is a City of Merritt–operated public recreation facility featuring a 6-lane 25-metre lap pool, a lazy river and vortex leisure pool, two whirlpools, a sauna, and a fully equipped fitness room. It is fully accessible and situated next to the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena, a short walk from the Merritt Civic Centre. For touring cyclists, it offers a rare opportunity in the Thompson–Nicola region to recover with a proper swim session or soak after a long day in the saddle.
