Tsukiji Kitchen
Tsukiji Kitchen is a grab-and-go seafood kitchen and community hub on lower Lonsdale in North Vancouver, opened December 2025 and run by Takuya Hikita, a former Tsukiji Market auctioneer with a marine biology background and a mandate to promote sustainable BC seafood. The Ocean Wellness Bowls pair Japanese-sourced seaweed and salmon roe with locally sourced BC proteins such as salmon, shrimp, and scallop. The space also includes a coffee corner and a second-floor event room used for cultural programming and community gatherings.
