Slocan Valley Co-op

Slocan Valley Co-op is a locally-owned Federated Co-operatives affiliate serving Slocan Park and Castlegar, operating as both a grocery supermarket and a fuel/gas bar on Highway 6. As one of the few full-service stops in this rural stretch of the Kootenay region, it is a practical resupply point for cyclists travelling the Slocan Valley. The co-op model means it is community-owned and oriented toward serving local residents and travellers alike.
