It sits within Naikoon Provincial Park, a vast wilderness of beach, bog, and old-growth forest on the traditional territory of the Haida Nation. Touring cyclists on Haida Gwaii typically reach it via a beach hike from the Tlell River trailhead, making it one of the most dramatic and remote landmarks on any BC cycling itinerary.
