A 24-acre informal show garden near Courtenay featuring over 3,000 rhododendrons, bark mulch paths winding through natural forest, and numerous water features. Recognized as one of the world's finest informal show gardens and a Canada 150 Garden Experience, the gardens were hand-built by one man over decades. Located 15 minutes north of Courtenay just off the Old Island Highway, it also hosts annual art festivals and summer concerts.
