Cherry Point Estate Wines is one of Vancouver Island's pioneering wineries, established in 1990 on 34 acres of a former mink ranch in the Cowichan Valley, and among the first licensed wineries on the island. Positioned along the Vancouver Island Wine Route about 50 km north of Victoria, it offers daily guided tastings of award-winning whites and reds — including notable dessert wines — with suggested pairings from knowledgeable staff. A seasonal bistro on a brick patio amid the vines serves West Coast-inspired lunches, making it a natural rest stop for cyclists on a multi-day tour.
