Mishmish
Mishmish (مشمش, meaning 'apricot' in Arabic) is a third-culture Middle Eastern bakery and café on Fraser Street in Vancouver, founded in 2024 and named Vancouver Magazine's Best Bakery 2026. Chef/owners Abdallah El Chami and Leah Christ blend Lebanese, Iranian, German, and Canadian traditions into creations like the Baklava Cream Top and Mishmish Bar. The café features covered outdoor seating where dogs are welcome, and serves coffee from Modus Coffee and tea from Tea Sparrow.
