Mamalee is a beloved Malaysian restaurant on West Broadway founded by Betty Lee, a Kuala Lumpur-born cook who overcame serious hardship — including a partially paralyzing car accident — to bring authentic Malaysian flavours to Vancouver in the early 1990s.
