The Lion Rampant is a Scottish-themed pub in Maple Bay in the Cowichan Valley, founded by two Scottish-born partners and built inside the former Brigantine Pub. The space was redesigned by TV celebrity designer Nancy Hadley and the menu crafted by chef Brian Duffy of Bar Rescue fame, giving it an unusually polished pedigree for a rural Vancouver Island pub. It is known for a patio with an 'unparalleled view' of the bay, a locally sourced menu ranging from Cullen Skink to seafood mains, and live music every weekend.
