The Black Antler
The Black Antler is an independent restaurant and bar in downtown Penticton, run by husband-and-wife team Dan and Lynn, who relocated from elsewhere in the Okanagan to fulfil a lifelong dream. The operation includes a microbrewery producing its own Antler lager, and the couple also runs a companion restaurant called The Forest next door. A touring cyclist passing through Penticton will find a locally owned spot with a full bar, weekend brunch, and a personal backstory that sets it apart from chain dining.
This place is in the traditional territory of the Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation, Nłeʔkepmx Tmíxʷ (Nlaka’pamux), Syilx (Okanagan), and Cayuse, Umatilla and Walla Walla.
