The South Okanagan Events Centre is Penticton's premier sports and entertainment arena, a 5,000-seat facility owned by the City of Penticton and home to the Penticton Vees BCHL junior hockey team. Opened in 2008, it hosts major touring concerts—Bryan Adams, Dwight Yoakam, and similar acts—and features a unique retractable seating system that converts between hockey and other configurations. The broader SOEC Complex includes an indoor walking track and connects directly to the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre.
