An accessible overnighter in the valleys around Nakusp and Slocan Lake: 101 km of smooth gravel, bumpy quad track, and rail grade that blurs into singletrack. Detours tempt the whole way, from Wilson Creek Falls dropping 63 m into a pool worth the hike, to New Denver's cafes and shops, to Slocan Lake's clear water at the finish. Camping and water are everywhere, so split the days however you like. Grab the bike you've got and go.
