A family-owned Vancouver institution serving classic English-style fish and chips since 1965, Cockney Kings fries in beef tallow for a distinctly traditional British flavour and offers cod, haddock, snapper, salmon, and halibut. The Main Street Mount Pleasant location is the newest in the chain, opened in early 2026 by the same family that has run the brand for decades. Dine-in and takeout are both available, with online ordering supported directly through the website.

FAQ confirms gluten-friendly options (grilled/steamed fish, salads, corn tortilla fish tacos) with shared-fryer caveat, and vegetarian-suitable salads and sides; deep-fried items including chips use beef tallow so are not vegan
