Pumpjack
PumpJack Pub has anchored Vancouver's Davie Village as a queer community bar since December 2000, serving as both a daytime sports bar with two large projection screens and nine TVs and a weekend nightclub with live entertainment. It operates as an explicitly inclusive safe space under the BarWatch program and welcomes all queer lifestyles, hosting themed weekly and monthly events. A touring cyclist passing through the West End would find a lively neighbourhood pub atmosphere in one of Vancouver's most walkable and bikeable urban corridors.
