Mary Brown's is a 100% Canadian-owned fast food chain founded in St. John's, Newfoundland in 1969, now operating nearly 300 locations coast-to-coast. The chain specialises in hand-cut, hand-breaded fried chicken using fresh Canada Grade A chicken, hand-cut 'Taters' from whole Canadian-grown potatoes, and handmade coleslaw prepared daily in each store. The Abbotsford location on McCallum Road is a takeout-oriented stop in a strip-mall unit.
