Bear Creek Gardens

Bear Creek Gardens is a free public botanical garden hidden within Bear Creek Park in Surrey, surrounded by second-growth forest of Cottonwoods, Alders, and Western Red Cedars. Originally cleared and seeded in 1973, the garden has grown to include a Rhododendron Bed, Heather Bed, Conifer Bed, a Native Walk featuring Pacific Northwest plants, and a watercourse with pond. A pleasant stop for touring cyclists riding through the Fraser Valley, offering a peaceful forested setting just off 88 Avenue.
