The Nanaimo Wellington branch of Vancouver Island Regional Library is a public library situated inside Country Club Centre, halfway between downtown Nanaimo and the north end of the city. The branch relocated to its current space in May 2017, offering books, digital resources, meeting rooms, and community programming. For a touring cyclist, it provides a mid-city indoor stop in a well-established commercial centre.
