Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary is a 135-acre urban nature refuge in Victoria encompassing a significant wetland around Swan Lake and a rocky Garry oak forest atop Christmas Hill, with 4.5 km of walking trails drawing roughly 100,000 visitors annually. Managed by a non-profit society for over 50 years, it protects rare and threatened native plants and wildlife along the Pacific Flyway migration corridor. The on-site Nature House serves as an interpretive centre and includes a gift shop, making it a rewarding cultural and ecological stop for cyclists touring the Greater Victoria area.
